Lash extensions are individual strands of fibers made to look like a natural eyelash. When they are applied, they lengthen and thicken your own lashes. They are applied to each individual lash. They look great and feel completely natural.
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING TO PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
Make sure you come with a clean face and clean lashes, free of mascara, makeup, oils, dirt, etc. You can also feel free to bring a pair of headphones if you want to zone out while your lashes are applied.
HOW LONG DOES A SESSION TAKE?
The first appointment, expect around 2 hours. Fills usually take between 45 minutes to an hour.
HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST?
This varies from person to person. They will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your lashes. This usually is between 2-4 weeks for most, then a fill will be needed. Our most seasoned clients can last up to 6 weeks between fills. This takes a lot of Lash Care Practice.
WILL MY EYES BURN WHEN I WASH MY FACE?
It's a common reaction to have a little sensitivity or irritability the first time your eyes come in contact with water after a lash session. This is why it’s important wait at least 24 hours before letting your lashes have contact with water, it will minimize the chances of any irritability. The irritability is due to the lingering fumes in the adhesive. If you experience irritability, we recommend using a few drops of moisturizing eye drops found OTC in your local drug store.

ARE LASH EXTENSIONS BAD OR DAMAGING TO NATURAL LASHES?
Technically no, but that depends on so many things! I've been getting Lash Extensions for the past 4 years with very little breaks and my natural lashes are still going strong. Here are my two biggest tips: ONE: Go to a professional or a certified artists; someone who knows what they’re doing and knows the safe methods of applying lashes. TWO: Know that you are fully responsible for the day-to-day care of your lashes. Treat them like precious babies, follow all the tips mentioned, and you should have good and healthy lashes, both faux & natural.
HOW DO I SHOWER WITHIN THE FIRST 24-48 HOURS?
Some clients use water goggles, some sit on the tub, some are just really good at avoiding the water on their face.
For the most part, you can continue your regular shower routines, so long as you avoid direct water contact on your eyes & lashes for the first 24 hours.
CAN I SWIM WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?
AFTER you've waited 24-48 hours from your lash appointment, you're free to swim and do all the sports and activities that your heart desires. Just remember that the more pressure you put on your lashes, the shorter they will last.
WHAT CAN I DRY MY LASHES WITH?
Tap your lashes with a non-fiber/ lint free rag, or use face a fan! Remember to brush your lashes with a lash brush after your lashes get wet.
CAN I APPLY MASCARA TO THE LASH EXTENSIONS?
You can, but you shouldn’t.
Applying any kind of product directly to your lashes, will affect the strength and duration of your lash extensions adhesive. Lash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes a fuller/enhanced look. If you are constantly feeling like you need to add mascara to your extensions, lets talk about going thicker or fuller.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY LASHES GET TANGLED?
To avoid tangling, you should be brushing your lashes with your lash brush 1-2 times daily. Brush after waking up or napping, and brush after showering or washing face. Most tangles can be easily undone by gently brushing your lashes with a lash-brush.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IRRITABILITY Vs AN ALLERGIC REACTION? HOW WILL I KNOW?
The difference could be hard to tell as some of the symptoms might be the same. EX: red puffy eyes, itchiness, tightness, watering, burning sensation.
However, the key to telling which is which, is time. Here are some cues that could help:
Irritants can be normal and do not cause the immune system to react. In most cases, irritation will go away after 24 hours and should get better as time passes.
Allergic Reaction may not appear until several hours or even days after exposure to the allergen, making it difficult to work out the cause of the problem. In order to develop an allergy, you have to be exposed to the allergen more than once and repeatedly.
Treating the reaction: THE FOLLOWING ADVICE SHOULD NOT REPLACE PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE. If your Irritation or Reaction gets worse, please seek medical help. In the meantime, you can take an antihistamine medication that can be purchased Over The Counter at your local pharmacy.
MICROBLADING VS. SOFT TAP
MICROBLADING IS THE MILDEST FORM OF PERMANENT MAKEUP. a very fine blade is used to deposit pigments into the epidermis while creating simulated hair strokes that appear crisp, very fine, AND APPEAR multi-dimensional . The results are natural and fuller looking brows but will fade in the first two weeks after application. a microblading service usually contains two sessions. The 2nd sessions is usually booked 4 – 6 weeks after your first session for a touch-up . Microblading can last 1 TO 3 years depending on a variety of factors that can affect the duration like aftercare, sun exposure, skin type, sweating, etc. Not everyone is a candidate for microblading, so be sure to talk to the practitioner about things like eczema, psoriasis, oily skin, rosacea, and other skin conditions.
FADES UP TO 60%-75% | LASTS 1 - 3 YEARS
soft tap, ALSO KNOWN AS POWDER BROWS. A LITTLE LESS INVASIVE THAN MICROBLADING. THIS TECHNIQUE MAY BE IDEAL FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO ACHIEVE A LIGHT PENCILED-IN LOOK. PIGMENT IS TAPPED INTO THE SKIN CREATING A SOFTER LOOK RESEMBLING POWDERED BROWS. THE RESULTS LOOK DARK AND SOLID IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PROCEDURE. MOST REQUIRE TWO SESSIONS. THE SOFT TAP RESULTS LAST FROM 1 – 5 YEARS. NOT EVERYONE IS A CANDIDATE FOR SOFT TAP, SO BE SURE TO TALK TO THE PRACTITIONER ABOUT THINGS LIKE ECZEMA, PSORIASIS, OILY SKIN, ROSACEA, AND OTHER SKIN CONDITIONS.
