DIY Exfoliation Mask

Remember when you were growing up and you would buy those sugar scrubs from Target or Walmart and scrub your skin until it was beet-red and raw? Yeah, me too. Thank goodness that skincare has come a long way since then, and there are so many things we can do at home now that are cheap, convenient, and just as effective as buying those scrubs at the store. Below is an easy, DIY recipe for an exfoliation mask you can do at home while binging your favorite show on Netflix:

Honey & Baking Soda Exfoliation Mask:

This mask is awesome for dry skin that needs some love and attention, and if you’re living in Utah like we are, it couldn’t come at a better time with this cold frigid weather.. Baking soda is an amazing product that can do so many different things, and in this case, it really helps get rid of those dead skin cells that are holding on. The honey is packed with antioxidants and is super hydrating. It keeps your skin moisturized and also acts as a protective barrier. Vitamin E and Cinnamon both are both great for detoxifying and adding a glow to your skin.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tablespoons Baking Soda

  • 1 teaspoon Honey

  • 1 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

  • 3 teaspoons Milk

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and then apply directly to your face in a circular motion. Let sit for 15 minutes and then rinse. If you want a deeper exfoliation, massage your face with your finger tips as you rinse off the mask.

We hope you love a good DIY face mask as much as we do! With this simple recipe, your face will feel exfoliated, soft, and look dewy after rinsing. Happy exfoliating!
