Social Media Tips

Its not secret social media can help our business grow and be more successful, but how exactly?

I’ll start with follower numbers doesn’t define your business or your success, when I starter my lashing career I didn’t have any social media, it actually took me a while to make that decision and get myself out there, I was booked and didn’t feel like Social Media would make any difference, I was wrong!

It opened so many doors and connected me with new clients, and that’s when other lash artists started recognizing my work and that’s when Sirene Trainings and Sirene Products started.

Ok done with my social media story, if you are here you are probably wanting to grow your social media, clientele, and grow your business.

When I say social media I’m actually referring to Instagram, which is the easiest app to share what you do!

First thing you want to do is know your audience/followers, what do they need from you? What can you help them with?

If you are a Lash Artist we know lash extensions is what you can do for them, and how much easy their morning routine will be if they get lash extensions, so Lash Pictures it’s what they want to see from you, different styles, different shapes, lengths, how long they last, how often they need to get them filled, difference between classic and volume, how to care for them etc…

Identifying your audience might take some time but once you do Social Media gets easier.

Things you want to include in your Bio:

Name

Website/booking

Location

Phone Number

Email

Those things will help with your audience, you want to build a local audience (assuming you want to grow your business locally, to gain more clients)

Consistency is the key with social media, this means you want to post 5-6 times a week using the proper hashtags and share 5-8 times on your stories.

Your audience will follow you because they like something about you, or your business so they want to see more of it!

Good quality pictures are a must, together with a aesthetic and style. Keeping consistency with what you share and how you share it will attract the audience you need to grow your business.

Keep it professional but also share some personal things, your audience likes to feel connection and to get to know you better.

Again my number 1 tip is consistency! Growing your Social Media takes time, so don’t obsess over following number, instead in growing the audience you need to grow your business, so make a plan, plan your content, look for inspiration and Have Fun!
